The Soulsville College and Alumni Support Team (TSCS CAST) provides individualized support to each student and their family to ensure that 100% of students have access to, and support throughout, a post-secondary pathway that leads to a life of independence, choice, and fulfillment.
SUMMER GROWTH EXPERIENCES
To achieve our mission of success in college and life, our students must experience settings outside our school. The ability to adapt to other environments, expectations, and structures is a valuable skill we want each student to have before graduating. Every rising 10th, 11th, and 12th grader is required to complete a Summer Growth Experience, which can include local or national jobs, internships, research programs, college programs, boarding schools, and travel to places like New England, Idaho, and Chile.
What is SGE?
9th-11th grade students work with advisors to find excellent summer camp, program, internship, or job shadow.
Junior Seminar
11th-grade students have ACT and post-secondary built into their schedule.
Senior Seminar
12th-grade students receive weekly one-on-one advising in the post-secondary application and matching process.
Alumni Support
All TSCS graduates have an Alumni Support counselor to help with post-secondary enrollment and persistence, as well as support for well-being and access to community resources.
